62 Games Like Euro Truck Simulator. Euro Truck Simulator 2 or Shortly stylized as ETS2 is a brilliant Vehicle Driving Simulation by SCS Software. The game is a Sequel to the popular “Euro Truck Simulator” and it offers a similar gameplay and mechanics and loads of new locations on the game map.
God, I love ETS2, but sometimes I want to drive with a normal car, I need some adrenaline, and not only relaxing and comfy game you know;D.I've tried GRID, Test Drive Unlimited 2 and Sega Rally, but. These games aren't close enough for what I'm specting driving with a steering wheel. So, what guys do you recommend?I'd like a realistic driving experience like ETS2 with a steering wheel. It would be awesome if the world is open like here, and not only close circuits.Just tell me the games you play at the moment with your steering wheel, and which ones have the closest gameplay to ETS2. I am surprised no one has mentioned TDU2 - Test Drive Unlimited 2.It is cars and SUVs but no trucks, no semis.
There are motorcycles but that is provided by a DLC you must buy. Lots and lots of vehicles both classic and modern high performance but you do have to buy (get) them in-game by participating in AI races. No microtransactions to buy cars but there are a small number of DLC cars which in my opinion are not worth the cost, they are usually just minor variations of cars already in the game although some people would call this 'pay-to-win'.It provides a very large world with many miles of roads to drive both off-road and paved. City driving is well presented, graphics are very good.
Online driving is very nicely done. The vehicle physics is just about right. Works very nicely with a G27.You can just drive or participate in both AI challenges and online challenges. There are many other features such as purchasing houses, house upgrades, car upgrades and so on none of which cost 'real' money. There is one interesting DLC which adds an online Casino, poker players will be interested in that although that DLC has a reputation of not working most of the time. I didn't like the camera, in first person I couldn't see much.
And I didn't find a way to look to the right or left. I could play fine in Third person view, but god, playing in third person view with steering wheel is very very weird, but It could work with a gamepad.
